Our very good friends The Zepeda's finally had their baby boy! Arturo Perez Zepeda III was born Wednesday July 23 2008 weighing 7lbs 8oz and 19 3/4 inches. both mommy and baby are doing great! Suyzel was a champ and we are so very proud of her!

Our little Brookybear...had discovered her fingers!! She is now grasping things and holding them throwing them around and putting things in her mouth. This stage is so bitter sweet! I love to see her growing and watching her learn new things, but at the same time I wish she could stay small!

On Sunday we had our nephews Jeff and Rob over...Blake was so excited to see them! We took them to the movies to see Space Chimps (good movie) then back to our house for some swimming and playing at the water park! Its so crazy to see how much our nephews have grown...It seems as if it happened overnight.

Brooklyn turned 2 months old on July 21st. Can't beleive how fast time is going...it didn't seem this fast when Blake was a baby...maybe it's because now I have two to keep me busy!!!

we took Brooklyn in for her 6week check up and got her first set of shots as well as her ears pierced! She wasn't very happy about either, but she sure does look cute with her ears pierced!!!

Brooklyn celebrated her very first Independence Day! We had a really good time. We celebrated with Art, Suyzel and Isela. They came over for a BBQ and to hang out at the pool. Ryan and Art had to work that evening so Blake, Brooklyn and I stayed home and watched the fireworks from our back patio

Blake started his 1st sporting event! He plays TBall for the YMCA. He is quite funny to watch. His dad coaches the team and uncle Kenny is the assistant coach!

On June 29th we had Brooklyn baptized at Queen of Peace Catholic Church. Brittani's Grandma and Aunt Jerrine traveled all the way from Nebraska to share in this special occasion with Brooklyn. Brooklyn's God Parents are also Blake's God Parents Jen and Ken Hart.

Blake loves his little sister! I am impressed with how well he took to the role of being a big brother! He tells me "mom thanks for having a baby....I love her"

On May 21 2008 we added the last addition to our family....Brooklyn Loran Burke. She was born at 12:36pm weighing 9 lbs 1 oz and measured 19 3/4 inches long. She had a rough start, due to a bowel movement before she was born which caused some maconium to enter her lungs so she spent her first 4 days of life in the Nursery ICU. That was a pretty scary experience for Ryan, Blake and I...but we all got through it and on May 24th we brought our baby girl home!!!
